APPOINTMENTS

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your appointment. This allows us the chance to make sure we have your correct information for future communications and also allows us time to prepare you for your service as necessary.

SERVICES

The majority of services we offer include wax. The wax is formulated for the most sensitive skin. However, there are contraindications that could prohibit The Wax Bar from performing a service. If you have any medical conditions, you are taking any prescribed medications, you have recently tanned or are pregnant, please let us know. It may be necessary to reschedule your appointment. Salon services can be rendered on individuals 13 years of age and older. Children under that age are not permitted in the salon. The Wax Bar does not offer refunds on salon services. In extenuating circumstances a salon credit may be issued only through salon management.

CANCELLATION POLICY

-At The Wax Bar, our priority is each and every client. Our days are scheduled in a way that allows us to make the best use of our time and normally that leaves our days to be booked back to back with clients. Punctuality is vital.  We do our best to make sure we are running on time for each client and ask that clients arrive on time for their appointments as well.  

-Since servicing clients and using our time wisely is our first priority, we find it unfortunate but necessary to enforce our cancellations policies:

-We allow a 10 min grace period for late arrivals, as we know sometimes things are out of your control i.e. traffic, weather etc.  Please understand that after 10 min, your appt. is subject to be canceled and rescheduled. 

-In the event you need to cancel your appointment, we ask to be notified by the opening of business, the day of your scheduled appointment at the latest.

-If your appointment is cancelled due to late arrival past the grace period, you are subject to a fee of 50% of the services reserved.

-If your appointment is late cancelled (cancellation after 9am the day of your scheduled appointment), your appointment is subject to a fee of 50% of the services reserved.

-In the event, an appointment(s) is a no call, no show - the client will be charged 100% of services reserved.

-Due to high volume appointment booking and limited availability, we also enforce a $25 fee in the event of a same day booking and same day cancellation.

Thank you for understanding and adhering to our policies. Please note, that booking an appointment constitutes agreeable with these policies as they are sent in appointment reminders and appointment confirmations.

GIFT CARDS

For your convenience, gift cards can be purchased online or in the salon. Gift cards purchased online can be picked up at the salon. The Wax Bar gift cards do not expire, nor charge fees for any reason. The Wax Bar gift cards are not refundable or returnable. The Wax Bar assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen gift cards. The Wax Bar gift cards can be purchased in any amount from $10-$1000. Use of this gift card constitutes acceptance of these terms.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

The Wax Bar honors Cash and all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Gratuities and tax are not included in menu of services. All prices are subject to change without notice.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are based on your preference and service satisfaction. Gratuities can be in cash or added on card transactions.
